Default Better than a smashed finger...

Well, I finally had a couple of hours free to do some fishin this morning so, I went to the one fish I know how to catch...Catfish.

The day started off rough as the third cast of my cast net was it's last. Big logs= disaster for a cast net. I was gonna call it a day but knew this was a rare day(I was actually gonna get to fish). Went to Wal-Mart and bought net five for the year(two were stolen).

I got back and caught few shad. Off to the water!! Well, it was late by the time I got to cast the first line but I did catch 3 blues before they quit. They was all small but hey, I was fishin dangit!!!!

Anyway, no one here cares bout cats but, I'm gonna try to post a pic of em anyway. I got a pic on my phone.

They were all in the 2lb range and caught on the MS River near Geismar.

I wish I had more to show but, I was just dang glad to get the chance to go!

I know how that is, I count any trip as a success if I went out, got a line in the water, and made it back home safely.
