The cops are the experts on the current criminal trends. If they have determined that a “high capacity” semiautomatic pistol and a .223 semiautomatic rifle with 30-round magazines are the best firearms for them to use to protect people like me and my family, they are obviously the best things for us to use to protect ourselves and our families .

I just talked to the game wardens for 45mins at Heberts landing ...they were at the pool all day yesterday and he said not a signal boat checked in more that 3 fish......not saying someone is giving false info but I told him a guy said he caught 15 bass....he said well he lied to the wardens when he left because 15 bass were not caught all day according to WLF paperwork this morning



Also anyone who is caught fishing behind the weir signs ...the fines have increased from what I'm hearing

I was $ 225 per person..... and it has gone up?????

I called the new phone # a couple of days ago to check on the wier gate at Grand Bayou. The recording said it was open, but is the gate still open now?

W no sure on tickets but I know them State Troopers that setup the check point wrote a few while I was talking to LDWF.

if this is true the pool is dead and will not be up to levels of previous years for awhile. Am I correct in assuming this?

Don't think they will restock it but I could be wrong, makes perfect since with the drought and no spawn =no fish

Harris O'blanc fished 3 days in a row and scratched...and he is the king of the Pool

That was the wrost section of all they said...almost all dried up but a few spots in the channels but could drive a bike across it

Very sad!!!! Been fishing it since I was a kid....just moved 10 minutes from it and now no reason to fish it.
