Default Toledo 6-21 Weekend

Had a good birthday weekend at Toledo with Sammich and some other good friends of mine. We got up there friday afternoon and got all set up and settled in. Friday evening we made a trip to the brush pile and ended up with around 16 sacs. Saturday we tried for bass without a single bass being hooked. I blamed the full moon. Took a break and hit the brush pile again, this time ending up with around 27 or so. The bite was no where near fast and furious, but the bite was steady and all were quality fish. Most were slabs and every one was a keeper. Finished up with a quick trip sunday morning that gave us 15 or so. Then we gave a tow to a guy who's boat we watched catch on fire. It appeared he had an electrical fire that melted his throttle cable all the way to his seat! Nice relaxing weekend at Toledo, weather was nice. It was hot but not unbareable and the wind stayed rather calm. We weren't worried about the heat, we had plenty of cold pops!

I saw y'all pass by us on the road by buckeye landing and big bass while we were on a golf cart. We went white perch fishing Sunday for a couple hours and caught probably 20-30 whit perch and some bar bass and Friday and Saturday we went night fishing and caught 5-10 each time.
