Dream hail... take an extra $50k out on the home note for "improvements" you want to do.

the cat might do good running in 1 to 2's but what happens when you stop to fish? that back is sitting pretty low. looks like a 2 footer would swamp it. nice flats boat though.

I am a bass fisherman too. I went through 3 bayboats & finally found the one that fits me & my fishing style, I know what your are talking about. You're wanting a bay boat with decks like a bass boat. So you can do both. My Skeeter is that way, nothing but an over grown bass boat. A fishing partner of mine has a blazer bay 19' & bass fishes out it all the time. He loves it. I think the blazer bay is a good fit for a bass fisherman.

Where do you put you tackle box and ice chest on that SCB??? Looks like it would wash overboard along with the fish that you drop on the deck, one little wiggle and he's back in the water...............Screw that, give me a boat w/ some sides on it.........Besides, I like being high off the water when I'm fishin, not standing on it like Jesus.............Tim

Red......Just double up on the truck payments.

I am sure the wife can do without a bunch of the stuff that she bring home each week.

Years ago, a fellow that I worked with, his wife started talking about wanting to have their first baby. He said that they did not have any money saved...he was an engineer and working for less than a year making about $ 12,000 per year.

He told her that when they got $ 5,000 saved they could have a baby. About that time, one of the manager took an overseas assignment and the couple moved into there house ...rent free. They had most of the money saved in 6 months and a baby on the way.

Moral......if you want it bad enough.....find a way to make it happen.

Default Blazer Bay Forum

I shopped Blazer Bay for a while but ended up buying a Blue Wave Pure Bay 2200.

Check out the Blazer Bay Forum and get some owner opinions:

Now here is a manly boat.. 26' long... 9' 4" beam.... tons of room and storage, big bow can handle big waves, boat drafts less than 10" and I have ridden on one in 6"-8" of water running.... this boat can go offshore as well if you pick decent days. It would be a mansion for "W".
