Default Power Poles and Oyster Reefs

I know many of you have power poles. I know they work really well chasing reds in the shallows, but how do they do if your fishing oyster reefs. It seems like they might have a hard time getting through the oysters to get a good stab into the bottom. ( I know, that's what she said)

they will hold on reefs when it is not windy, which is why they dont work well on big lake reefs lol. I love mine even though it doesnt always hold on reefs the other times I use it make up for that.

i wouldn't be without my power pole, but on the heavy oyster i use a 10' po-pole. it's 1" dia. and will bust through the shell(with a little effort) i've got po-pole mounts on the bow and stern, so i can position any way i want. i make the po-pole, so i,ve got em' all over so i can show people how they work. Never had a problem with mine holding on Reefs in BL. Even on pretty rough days.

That's because your legs are too short for you to see the full view.

love mine never had a problem with it not holding except when fishing the beaches and big swell come and lift the boat deeper than a pp will reach but they make a wave tamer or stabilizer you can add to it which gives it more movement or reach when deployed in rough water

Half the time that Power Pole didn't work on David's boat, to be honest. Love my Powerpole. Amazing for bass fishing.

Well I know 1st hand anchor is better, its holds in 1ft - 20ft
...so why have a power poll when your limited .... Them with my anchor I can position any way , with a power pole your limited to one way,

Anchor holds on any surface........

So you will never see one on my boat and matter of fact I think the Poe,s took them off some of there boats

Well if u know it 1st hand and say power pole is junk then I guess this is a dead issue and power pole has convinced a few boat owners to spend 1500$ on a piece of junk.

Lmao x 10000000

Powerpole marketing = WINNING!!

Can't position with one power pole? Get two, if too expensive then get a stick it for the front and hold your position. Bass pros will even admit they love their power pole.

Ill take you on a tour of big lake and I will place 5000 that you only see one out of every 10 boats with a power pole in use.....

85% bought them to be cool and never use them

And I never seen but maybe 4 guides top in the last 5 years put them down fishing
