Just moved to Rayne area. From Texas, used to fishing offshore in Matagorda bay and on rivers. Don't have a boat, looking for places with on foot access. Preferably where I won't be eaten.

Lake charles area has parks that border the lake. Around 2-10 and I-10 you can get in a little bank fishing. Best thing to do if you have the money, buy you a cheap kayak and get after it.
