Default Beach Report: Tee Butte --> Grand Chenier 10/23

Sunday afternoon trip. Cast for Shrimp for 1-1.5 hrs, caught 15 lbs Med. Ran to beach and searched for green water, almost nada, mostly brown to chocolate. Saw an uncommon sight, flounder jumping in shallow water. They were hard to hook using live shrimp, managed 5 though. Also caught some nice Specs in muddy water, The Gaffy's were abundant, and of course, persistent too. Total catch: 5 Specs, 5 Flounder, 1 Puppy and 1 Red. Released at least 15 Rats. Also lost several more big reds. Hopefully the Fall pattern is finally kicking in along our stretch of SW La. Also tried Artificial's, but concluded the water was too muddy for them to be effective.

Fished the Rock today. After 5 days of North wind the beach was still muddy.

Plan B: Caught a lot of Sandies and a few Spec's on the inside. Didn't fish for Reds. People doing pretty good with the crabs and shrimp.

Fished Rock again 11/16. 7 Specs & 2 Reds. Beach again muddy. Caught and released 40-50 Sandies, in the process of catching my Specs. Best bite today from 10:00 - 13:00 hrs.
