Wood play set help

If I had time I would build somthing but I don't see that happening so, where have yall bought from and/or who has the most for the least on these.... I don't want junk but need somthing reasonable

I bought the one from SAMs several years ago. Seems to be pretty good quality but was a B to put together.

It will be much easier and cheaper to build one. Trust me..... I spent an entire weekend putting that thing together. I could have built a nice play set over an entire weekend.

Never in my life will I put another one together. If a friend would call me and ask if I could help him put one together the answer would be "hell no"!!!

I have one that was around $800 and it's 5 years old. It's starting to fall apart.

I just tore ours down after about 4 years. It took me 12 hours to put together with help.

A friend of mine just built one for around $700. He bought a bracket kit & instructions along with all the wood needed. It called for 4x4's & 2x4's instead of the cheap stuff that comes in those kits. He even had enough drop off when he was finished to build a mini picnic table for it too.

Thanks guys, I think I am gonna just stop and build one because I don't want it falling apart.... not much more than drilling some holes and making a few cuts with some of the plans I found online

Mine is from Sam's...... Just build one casue that kit is a MOFO to put together. Plus you'll use better wood that that soft junk they use and it's not that hard. General carpentry knowledge is all you need and it'll be customized to what you and the kids want.

We did buy an upgraded tunnel slide on Amazon to replace the rockwall. Jr's a little too young for that right now.

He said that it came with the brackets & plans for 5 different options. The lumber & slide were not included.

I built one 10 years ago for my girls. It has been moved multiple times and now at my Godchild's house for her to play with. Built with treated lumber and painted every 3 years. Stay away from the kits. Too complicated. Got 2 slides from stine and a plastic culvert for the tunnel. You can not go wrong building it yourself.

I would look online for some plans and build one on own. Lowes sells all the accesories. Use pressure treated lumber with stainless hardware.
