Default Bayou Sale

Fished this area a long time ago with a friend that passed away. For the life of me I do not remember where the launch is. I know you can launch at burns point and get to the area but looking for the other launch into the heart of the area. Thanks

You can launch at Cabots Landing and you're not far from Bayou Sale.

I use to fish an area down that way. I think I would go to Centerville and take Hwy 317. A few miles down, I took a right on a road that went back to an oilfield yard. There was a small boat launch there that would put you back into the swamp. Very beautiful area to fish.

I think that launch was closed to the public many years ago.

Sounds like Luke's. It has been closed to the public for many years. We used to launch there in the late 90's and never had any problems, though.

You talking about the launch right off hwy 90 in franklin? I have fished the quintana oil canals before, looking to fish further south. That would be a long run to the area I want to fish.

Montauk when you going? I've been wanting to try that area for a few years but always forget about it. I'm definitely fishing this weekend somewhere. Was thinking about the Cherenton area or maybe Benoit, but bayou sale might do too! Just wonder how the water looks this time of year.
