Default Trail Cameras

Any recommendations on trail cameras, good or bad? I need to get a few this year under $250 preferably.

Cuddyback claims to have the fastest response time. I have both Cuddyback and Moultrie and both have taken great pics for me, my Moultrie also has video mode, works really well.

Got a Browning Strike Force last season and had great results from it. Batteries (6 AA) lasted from October 1 to end of January and had over 2,500 pics. Got it from Trailcampro.com and right now they have some Primos cameras with good reviews and $30 rebate.

A lot of hunter friends and myself are now buying from http://www.trailcampro.com/

Sold all my refurb'd Primos Ultra 35's bought at Natchez Shooters Supply last year, and now have about 6 Brownings, mostly Strike Force. You can read all the reviews there. Nice thing is they add another year of warranty and include an SD card.

I'm so tired of setting cams 4 hours away at lease then go check and nothing/fail/etc. I tore apart a failed Primos ultra 35 to find the cheapest cheesiest terrible China wiring you could imagine. Unreal, wonder it worked at all.

And I now keep packaging, receipts, matching serial numbers, everything in good order in case of return. Tired of throwing cams away.

Also, if you buy using your credit card, be aware most offer another year of warranty over stock. I filed a claim 2 months ago, jumped through some hoops, but finally they paid and I bought another Browning in place of that Primos.

I have had probably 7 Cuddebacks over the years only because they make it where it's cheaper to buy a replacement from them than repair your broken one . I will not buy another because the most I ever got out of one is 3 yrs . Good pictures and trigger speed but they have not lasted like I think they should . If you want the best get Reconxy , if you don't want to spend that much get on trailcampro.com and check out their tests and reviews , they are very thorough .
