A little rougher but we managed to still have a meat haul. My buddy latched into a big gar so when it surface close enough to my boat I popped him behind the head with my machete and then pulled him in. Another fun day and probably the last trip of the year; time to start hunting.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1380483124.441470.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1380483137.894959.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1380483154.001820.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1380483189.952092.jpg

Thought about it too long. I was really thinking of mounting it because I've been wanting to mount one with a bunch of spots. It actually had 8 spots on both sides.

I saw it, just wasn't sure if it was on the tailfin like that or if it was the fish underneath or something. That's a really awesome fish though!

Yeah, I took another buddy of mine about 4 years ago and he caught a bull red with 15 spots on one side and 13 on the other; 42" fish and only the 2nd red he'd caught in his life! He mounted it. Don't have the pic Scott I'll have to get him to take one and send it to me to post.

Nice trip, I am not even going to ask why you had a machete on the boat while trout fishing but good thing you did. Thats when you know you might be a redneck.

Had that machete in the boat because I needed one to clean the one I caught on Labor Day weekend. Had to kill that one with a hammer!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1380557511.858768.jpg
