Default beach this saturday...

hey if anyone is heading to the beach to surf fish during the week before saturday to fish for specks and reds pls tell me how it comes out with how clear or muddy the water wud be by saturday i have looked up the wind forcast it says south wind but not as much to make choppy waves it sud be a little calm thru out the week to weekend also by saturday the tide wud be high in am and drop to low tide by late afternoon. im trying to plan a trip down there to holly beach to the rocks or try at little fla dont have a boat im just gonna be surf fishing so anyone pls give me a head up or help me on wha to use wha to do wha to bring cux i wud be coming all the way from lafayette to try some surf fishing. i only did surf fishing twice in mi life and im missing out on alot. thanks to anyone who wud give me some advice it wud be very helpful.

If the water is pretty make sure u have a bait bucket and castnet just in case they won't eat artis

gotcha. im gonna use top water lures at first. i have a couple but im not sure which color wud be the best to use at the beach......

depending clarity of the water bring Black, pink, white or pearl, and chartruse....that about covers the colors you would need.......

sounds great. thanks for the help cux im sure it wud help me out in a way depending how it turns out on saturday cux im expecting to be there before sunrise and one more thing where is lil fla at cux i wanna be able to drive there by truck....

I threw bone skitter yesterday and didn't get one blow up. My cousin caught some on black and chart tho. Seem pink has been the color down there.

What u talking about Willis ...I know 4 guides who have been limiting out on sting ray grubs and topwater before 745am

Oh I believe y'all not saying they aren't. We went yesterday evening and they wouldn't touch my skitterwalk. Maybe afternoon is different than morning. But j know as soon as that live was hittin the water they were eatin that. They were smashin the top of the water and throw right in em and they still wouldn't bite it.

I'll try somethin different next time. Was running out of daylight and they were smokin live and I wanted to bring some fish back. Plus I'm just an office fisherman so I gotta take what I can get lol.

well im gonna take a chance im im a die hard fisherman so im just gonna go saturday and if its dirty water at least ill enjoy being on the beach and just try live bait but where lil fla at yall.. i wanna know how to get there by truck i never been to little fla.

Don't forget some bug repelant b/c the only thing that will be biting for certain are the deer flies. Check your other thread for directions

Not when me and Top Dawg went the other night. They had a crop duster flyin right over da beach sprayin us wit free skeeter spray!! Den on da way home we got stuck behind da truck pumpin out spray!
