That is always a good Spring spot. The water conditions has Oyster season shut down right now, that makes it better. But too many boats will kill it too.

It was a slow bite but there were a few trout in West Cove Sunday. I even took pics.

With the South winds the south bank of the cove is on fire, check first post for the spot.

Found some on my phone....we keep a few for dinner also...caught them all on anchor on those GPS spots...thanks evis for the help

Man I never caught trout like that before....un real how many trout are stacked up on those coordinates....I mean right on the spot....

There in joes cove mouth stacked up.... Popn cork with corky north side of entrance....THATS WHERE I CATCH ALL MY FISH....dey even have reds in dere too...check the back canals too

see yall wild for that. totally different attitude over here on the east side. had a guy flag me down the other day to tell me to come fish beside him he was tearing them up. seems like everyone in big lake would rather go out the way to lie to you than to help a little. walked up to a guide the other day at sweetwater marina (delacroix) he offered to come ride in the boat with me and show me some spots for free. how often would that happen over in big lake.
