try hitting CTRL ALT DELETE at the same time to bring up your task manager...then end all tasks in the applications screen....if that works immediately update your anti virus and do a full scan.....also download "malwarebytes" and run it...or try to boot in safe mode and run your anti virus

If so, are you hitting F8 as it reboots to get into safe mode?

Virus Fix
This malware first came out several months ago and should be relatively easy to remove. Download 4 programs from a good computer: "Combofix" from Bleeping Computer, CCleaner, Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro from Download.com. and place on flash drive.
Boot into "Safe mode with Networking" using F8 and copy the four executables you downloaded previously onto your desktop. Run Combofix first and if it asks to reboot as it runs , let it reboot but press F8 to get it back into Safe Mode and let it continue. Be sure it stays in Safe Mode. Run CCleaner to get rid of tempoary files. Run Malwarebytes next and run full scan after all updates of Malwarebytes are done. Try Hitman Pro and then reboot syste into normal mode. If it boots without any "FBI" messaage, then run a complete scanusingan updated anti-virus pogram. Good LucK!!! |

Got this on my work laptop as well. As soon as I would reboot it would come back up. Luckily I had an IT team to fix it because I couldn't do a thing with that comp.

I've removed this off of a few computers. It's pretty easy to remove. You can do a search for "FBI Moneypak Virus Removal" and that should give you some instructions on removing it. There are also some YouTube videos with instructions on its removal.

Very easy to do just do a google search. They give you directions on which file to remove. You will be back in action in less than five minutes. |

got to find the instructions where you boot it in safe mode with command prompt. It will tell you how to kill it, and then you can clean your computer. Try (all in safe mode with networking) malware bytes, spybot, and avg antivirus programs (all free) download em from a separate computer and put on a usb drive to install on the effected computer. I had a streak of computers I had to get this off of. it's a pain, and there are 3 different versions of that virus...good luck
