Do you usually breast them?? That is what I do with majority of my ducks ....I usually clean enough teal to pot roast some 3-4 times per year. Matter of fact putting some on the pit tomorrow night!

Im glad I left the levee cut in my field....hope the goose blind doesn't have standing water infront of it.....may have to move the duck operation to the goose field if there is too much water at the duck blind.

Just recieved a report from the marsh and the ducks are still there. Estimated there were 4-5 thousand holding in the middle of our lease with several thousand on our eastern neighbor. Water is high enough to run anywhere on the lease. May end up with a terriffic opener after all.

tell u what i sure hope we got some more teal during the split down in PI. last few days of first split were terrible, we were mashing em in the begininning just all the teal left. i will have post how we do this weekend!
