managed to get out of the house this evening and go after some bream with austin (boatmans son). ran to a few spots that neither of us had fished for bream before. caught a few. hit one spot and we smoked em!! caught around 35-40 and 1 catfish. lost a huge white perch at the boat.

had a blast. kept 20 or so and the catfish

Fool, what were you using for bait? What type of structure were you fishing? Are the lillypads up in the westfork yet? May take my boys out this afternoon.

This is a 9 pounder caught in Sam Rayburn Texas while prefishing a bass tournament (American Bass Anglers). Thats me in the picture before i cut my beard. I grew a beard to see what it would look like.... It didnt last long. looks nasty huh?

The second is a 3.99 pound bass. The biggest bass of that tournament was 4.00. I missed "big bass" by the weight of a drop of water, I would have gotten like 8,000 dollars extra for "bigbass".

i fish the river everyday of the week no lie. and you fish the river too but not near as much as i do. i know what to report on. and you can ask wtretreivers bass fishing on the river is slower then molasses.

take saturday for example, your team weighed in 1 fish at our tournament and yall ran all up by ward 8, now with you catching 1 bass that was 11 inches, you want to say that the river is hot right now? go ahead.

yea we weighed in one fish because there was a 11 inch LIMIT. There isnt a limit on the fish in the cal. for commercial fishing. And just to let you know we caught 10 bass that day, so i would say that it was a good day. Yea they were on the small side for the tournament but other ppl would have kept them cuz like i said THERE IS NO LIMIT.

sure there isn't a limit for bass. but like i said the river isn't HOT right now for big fish! and like i said earlier people are reporting catching fish, just small fish! IDK if you plan on fishing any tournaments other then the highschool ones but the 11 inch limit is in most tournaments.

idk where you brought in commercial fishing from since you cant commercial fish for bass this is what you can commercial fish for in freshwater-
