Default remington under fire.......

1 hour show on CNBC at 7 about guns going off without pulling the trigger........wonder if its the 887 I was looking at??

I watched it the other day. The videos recorded by a Cali swat team are pretty nuts. Model700's they use were firing by just touching the bolt. Even the guy that designed the trigger said it was unsafe. I am a huge gun advocate but if a company, especially a gun company, is bypassing safety just to save a few bucks then that is a problem. Buy a Browning instead.

I've had a Remington 700 for over 25 years and never had any issues with it.

^^^^^same here...my dad had 5 different model 700's in different calibers with 0 issues with any of them^^^^^^^^
