Default Bought dat...

Well, after a long wait and alot of travel..... finally found my newest purchase. Ruger 10/22. Came from New Orleans yesterday, went straight to academy in Lake Charles, all they had was a boy scouts edition 10/22. Guys at LC called Lafayette and they had 6 10/22's. Made the trip back to Lafayette and picked one up. Met BLUE from SC at academy.... nice talking with ya man. This gun is sweet. Bought my first "Accessory" for the gun. A 25 round banana clip. I hate only having 10 shots !!!

the hot lips magazine can be finicky with the hollowpoints, maybe that's because I haven't cleaned mine in years tho.

butler creek banana clips suck they don't feed worth a terd! they do make a drum for the 10/22 works better if you can find it or I'd buy extra 10rd mags. what did you get stainless barrel, bull barrel, blued barrel with wood stock, synthetic stock? benchrest model?

Blued 18" barrel with wood stock. Many more upgrades in the future. Gonna find out how in the Hell to put a scope on. The gun has no rails for scope rings

the receiver should be tapped for a standard dovetail base, then just add some weaver style rings.

you can use a drop of blue loctite on the base & rings to keep it solid.

Look for Ram-Line 30 rnd clips. Not sure if they still in business or not but the made the vest clips for the 10-22 once upon a time.

Ram-line clips and Federal Lightning ammo go well together or did when I used to shoot regularly.
