we fish cherenton. Caught some nice sac a lait this past year when the water was almost to where it is now. gonna go try again and see if they are in the same places. the water is coming down about 6" a day right now. Justa about the time duck season will be over,our pot holes will be getting right for them ducks.psssshshhh.

Ive heard of charenton,but never fished it before. I usually fish bayou beniot or henderson before the hurricanes.

cherenton is towards baldwin,actuall right on the other side of jeanerette. Our hunting lease is just a few miles from benoit.

I decided not to go to big lake, I took the kids to grand lake instead out by the locks.
We were looking for catfish, came home with 13. Kids had fun so thats all that matters.

Water too fresh for reds im sure? Nothing wrong with dem ol cats,better than nothing.
