good job w my uncle from mermentu served in vietnam and he loves to fish,he told me when my mom was in hospital with cancer that up until a few years ago he would never wear his vietnam veteran hat because when they came home they werent welcomed like our vets today.by him saying this i realized you dont see many men who wears hats and so on if you cant find anyone i can give him a call.

And waiting to confirm the other two but looks likes l will have 3 Military Vets next Tues on big lake slinging trout

Wow, this is awesome man! I used to go on trips when I was active duty in North Carolina like this. They did it twice a year and it was a blast. Their website is militaryappreciationday.org

They are an outstanding group of people and they are expanding their chapters. I think the people of Salty Cajun should look into contacting them to start one down here. I would love to help out with it.

Also, I hate that I have to work Tuesday night so I can't participate in any Veteran's Day celebrations!
