Default worth 8500?

Looking at buying this boat. Its a 93 Offshore brand hull with a 97 Suzuki 115 2 stroke. Not sure on the hours on the motor, the meter was installed in 2007 and has 18 hours on it. The boat is very very clean, motor runs great, not to mention the garmin 3010 and brand new minn kota 82lb thrust trolling motor, Think its worth what hes asking for it?

Hey Chris, Welcome aboard the saltycajun. The boat looks nice but I think the motor is under-size for the boat. Most 19 foot bay boat has 150 hp or better. Don't get me wrong, I have 115 Suzuki on my 18.5 Avenger and I love it. Just wish i would have got the 150 when i had the chance. Now as far as price it seem fare, but i'd ask if they take 7000.

I went and picked the boat up today. Ended up getting it for 7 which is a steal in my opinion for the shape the boat is in. Its a little smaller than what I really wanted, but until I come across what I'm looking for, this will get me to where I want to be! Thanks for the comments guys!

go to a merc dealer/shop and pick you up some mercury power tune in the spray can. take your plugs out. squirt the powertune directly in the cylinder till it foams out the plug hole. do that to every cylinder. let it sit for about 5 mins then do it again. then let sit for 15-20 mins then put old plugs back in. turn motor over with kill switch pulled off to clear the fluid. then fire it up and let it run for 10 mins and watch the years of carbon buildup drop in your driveway. get new plugs for it. you shoudl be good to go. i do that once a year to my 200 hpdi and it cleans it out real good and keeps it running like new. i started running ring free 2 summers ago and it reduced the carbon by about 85%.
