Default Gmc seirra 2015 question

I'm pulling this box haul trailer then my rpm and engine sputters going 65-70. Engine sputters and rpm are jumping slightly above 2000 and 1900 but not losing power. Could it be bad gas. I'm little belie a quarter tank?

Fuel Filter and fuel pump are one assembly. Might need to be changed.

when I changed the fuel pump on my '01 chevy, it was a lot easier to pull the bed off than drop the tank. watch a youtube vidieo or two and get after it.

Sorry to say, but that P0700 code is what we refer to as the "death code" for that transmission. If you plan on keeping the truck, I'd go with a Jasper reman. Can't beat the warranty--3yr\100k and it's honored nation wide. Just my .02

I don't know anything about the half ton transmissions but I have a duramax with the allison trans. My Trans Control Module went out causing it to be stuck in 3rd gear and shifting really hard from neutral to reverse or forward but it could cause many different issues. Hopefully it is just a controller and not the whole transmission. Just find a good transmission shop to do your work.

It is down shifting hard btw 2-1. Sometimes also lags to shift btw 2-3 gear sometime.
