Default Smack down

I had a electronics install this afternoon in Buras so I decided to hit the water on the way down for an hr or 2 to smack some reds again.

With me it is never a dull moment on the way to a fishing spot. I hit the Crescent City Connection and here is a drunk in the fast lane weaving all over the place. (7am) He starts going back and forth and then smacks the bridge, weaves back out and smack again. Got on the phone with police as I block 2 lanes so noone tries to pass him as he is all over the place. He finally decides to go across all lanes and try and exit and big oops. Hits the exit and spins around and its done. Here come the police. That was my start of the morning.

After the wake up on the road I finally got to my spot. I knew I had plenty grass in the ponds so I rigged 2 poles and just a couple extra baits. One rod with a MArsh Works spoon and the other with a Ribbitt in Orange. Just like the other day reds were everywhere. I had 7 landed within 1.5hrs and all released for another day. They were between 22-27". Spoon was used along the grass lines and ribbitt was used across the grass.

Now hopefully they will all be there for the next 2 weekends for tourneys.
