Default South Africa advice

Getting married this January and my fiancé agreed to go to South Africa for our honeymoon. Has anyone been to hunt?? She said we can hunt for 3-5 days then head to beach.

you do realize that is the middle of the summer in South Africa right? Not sure how hot it gets there but you may want to check that before booking a trip

I've personally never been there but my neighbor has. He sells cane harvesters for a living and South Africa is pretty big into cane. Cane is in rural places and so is hunting, maybe he can hook you up.

I'm pretty sure South Africa is far enough from the Equator for this not to be an issue. Just looked up average temperature in South Africa for January and it's 20C, which is About 65-70F.

I'll tell you this from my conversations with my neighbor. I once asked him if he had to live in any place that he's been to in any other country (he's been all over the world) where would it be? He said South Africa. I know he's hunted there, I'll see if he has any recomendations.

By the way Pox, he's building a house in Lafourche Parish and is interested in how he can get the tour of Viking that you spoke about in another thread.

It's really not bad, I can shoot all that for less than 10,000 in SA

In Texas on a high fence ranch a kudu is 12,000.00 a zebra is 5500.00 so it's a lot cheaper in Africa
