Default Cold Weather Fishing!

Anyone gonna be out on the water tomorrow despite the bitting chill in the air!? Thinking about suiting up and accepting the challenge!

Which water did you fish? How'd it go? I'm painting a kitchen...

I proly shoulda stayed home and painted myself lol! Hit the sabine river at Niblett's. Fished from 730 to noon and caught 2 dinks. Fished on the old river north of i10. Fished a lil main river but the current is still rolling pretty good! Hit a few cuts with running water and caught my fish there on square bills! Tried a jig and craw worms on wood and beat the bank but no luck! It was 32 deg when I launched and the water temperature wasn't much higher at a whooping 49 deg! Water was murky on the main river and found a few spots with decent water running out of the woods....all and all it was a fun trip just need to get out and explore the sabine more to get on em!

Caught 2 dinks, fished in freezing temperatures?
I'm STILL jealous!
Thanks for the report.

Ha...I try to be positive! It's a old saying but it stands true...a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work!
