I think it makes sound each way? Like first note exhale, inhale, exhale (who-we-who)?

If not, you've got a solid question lol.

Back to the topic though, I've seen a few vids from Ark lately and they're loaded with specks, or at least those spots were. I may be wrong but their speck season doesn't open until Nov 16th? Plenty of time for them to sit comfy and not die while we run off all 37 specks we have for a week and a half.

The commissioners are a bunch of **** sticks. I have never seen someone so lost when it comes to starting and ending seasons.

I've been fishing Indian Creek Reservoir near Alexandria, and I've began to see a good mix of big ducks. Saw a flock of 20ish mallards the other day. Saw some other big ducks fly over but I couldn't make out the species. Someone who hunts probably could have.

Make the days whatever you want! If mother nature doesn't cooperate it won't make much difference.

Saw 5 specks south of Welsh Friday.. Didn't see a goose at my blind S of Lake Arthur. Mid-day.

Our field got plowed about a week ago, looks like the dust bowl out there..

If you have a few birds and water, I'd say you have a good chance at killing this weekend. I know of 2 separate places that got flooded over the weekend, and had specks on it the next day.

Just got in lastnight hoping to make a trip out to the lease sometime this week to check things out. Looks like we may get another small front and might actually have a cool weekend for duck season hopefully the ducks are going to start showing up in good numbers.

Extended forecast all the way up to SD and Iowa are disheartening. If it stays hot it better at least stay dry too.
