What's the scoop? Anybody been catchin in the basin? Benoit area? Just got back from my 14 out and I ain't stayin in the house on my days off.

3 weeks ago in Henderson. The people were fishing along the main canal , islands, points and near for them the bank of the Lilly pads in the north flats for sac a lait. Most of them using artificial baits. 1 or 2 fishing tight line but most were using stoppers setting there hooks depth from 12inches to 2 feet. From what I seen they were averaging 12 a day. Went Monday out of Benoit. Kept 8 bass 2 white bass and 2 goo let 2 other smaller bass go and lost 4-5 keeper sized ones at boat. All on crankbaits at points or drains. Went all way to oak ridge only caught 2 in there tho. Beau bayou was muddy. Caught most around Benoit area. By thur tho it'll be totally diff bc drop is so substantial look for drains and points should be good tmrw!
