yeah I have progressive too they replaced my whole lower unit cause I hit something one time

Progressive, I think when you insure the lower unit, there is a 6 month waiting period before you can use it. Can't remember the amount but was not outrageous or I would not have taken it

Mine was $49 with a 31 day waiting period. I recently added it to my policy after a close call with a hundred yards or so of mono tearing up the seals on my LU. Luckily i check for that every other trip or so or i could have been in a world of hurt.
