I taught him how to call specks with his nose. I can blow two calls at the same time, one in each nostril. I am telling you I am a professional.

(never killed either before) Let us know how u do. I have hunted the Wax quite a few times and u gotta get there very early also to claim a spot. I guess cause we were always early, but never had a problem with someone trying to get too close.
Go to 1215 and you can shoot all the redheads and canvasbacks you want. I have a cabin on the north side and we are doing ok on good ducks. Now you will not kill limits I haven't anyway we were three hunting last week on Friday we shot 10 all mallards and wood ducks. Saturday only 4 wood ducks Sunday 11 all redheads and canvasbacks. But at least we getting enough to have a great dinner. Good luck.

Hunted North Toledo Saturday, had a 3 man limit. Scaup, Cans, a couple GWT, and one wigeon. SOO many cans up there! Pretty cool to have a change in scenary, and get to hunt while coastal zone is closed. Showed up the next morning to hunt the same place and someone beat us to it. Got to the back up spot, buddy fell in getting out the boat. Turned around and went the **** home lol.

I live up there and hunting has sucked all but the first few days of the season. Since then canvasback are all you see. Very disappointing year. And yes we get a ton of Shreveport hunters with no class at all on the lake. They will come in right at legal shooting time and set up 70 yards away. Then they sky bust! got to love hunting to put up with that crap.
