What ism our definition of a good blind?
What numbers would make it an "exceptional" blind? |

Good Blind
I guess if your only looking @ total birds killed I would say 500+ Birds, but IMO that number is difficult to achieve for a weekend warrior like most of us.
100+Mallards would be a great year IMO. If you kill Specks in the marsh on the regular I would consider that great as well. |

Well if you wanna get really specific...lol---there are ten weekends throughout the entire season, which translates to 20 or so days plus holidays or time off that you take etc..., so i would say maybe 25-30 days of hunting for the working man. So for just one person 25days x 6ducks=150 ducks per year per person would be the max...just a number to go off of...

To me if you average 3 ducks per hunter, per hunt that is a good blind (not excellent, not poor). You are going to have your bang up days and you dog days. But in my opinion 1/2 a limit per hunter, per hunt is "Good". Don't forget we all miss occasionally.
