Default Toledo grass mats

Does anyone know where to find (or where I should start huntin for) some grass mats or good thick submerged grass on the edge of some deeper channels??? Wantin to punch some stuff...never done it in Toledo, only FL. Plan is to dance topwater in the am and then hopefully get toward the deeper edge of that grass and fish in the grass. Any suggestions on that would rock.

THANKS IN ADVANCE for any help!
