I should be headed up either the 13th or 14th to the camp. If ya feel like it, you're welcome to swing by the camp & have a beer. I might have a pot of food too!

We fishing it outta hemphill. Just 1st 2 days. Sign up at academy may 7th 6-7pm. Good luck man. And y'all think boating etiquette is bad on big lake. Try fish this tourney! No trolling away before cranking and no 100yd courtesy pass! u can damn near reach out in back of cove and touch the bass boat running 80 next to u! Lol

O aNd McDonald's no longer on title

No doubt, especially if you are catching fish! I had some try to move in on me and a school of fish I was catching until they saw how far I could throw that 3/4 oz football jig and a 6XD. I will chip jelcoat if they get that close. Good luck Kahunaz.

I almost saw two fights in the first 30 minutes of the first morning, $hit is crazy. I caught one around 4 lbs then another around 3 pounds the first hour, when I cranked up to go weigh in, them dudes looked like bumper boats trying to get to that spot.

I love the rush and excitement.

Im fishing all 3 days. This is my 3rd year fishing it. The first year (2011) my dad and I did good. I had a 3rd place hour fish and he had a 2nd place hour fish. And he got lucky and won the elimination boat ($30k triton)

No doubt! That's a great 3 says for y'all! I'd be happy winning my entry & gas money back! Hopefully this year no one hits my boat with theirs while I'm weighing a fish.

My dad sees that he can fish this tournament for 10 years and not win another dime and still be ahead. I say screw that! I wanna win one! Last year my biggest fish was about 1.5 pounds and I must have caught 30 of them. In 2011 the weather was horrible. 4-5 footers! 30-40 mph wind! RAIN! If you were there you remember. The weather cut the field in half. We put out big boy pants on and did work. It paid off! I hope for bad weather like that again or high skys and no wind. But good luck to yall! If yall dont win any money I hope yall have a safe weekend!

Pics from today
The line was beefing up around 11 for signup today. Bout 30 min wait w 7 registers. Should be packed this eve.
Did a little pre fishing and picked up 4 fish between 3-4 lbs in 5 min on spot near weigh in tx side. Saw a toad knocking shad 2 feet out of the water. So should be an interesting round. Lets just hope!!!
