Default Lake Martin

My uncle, cousin and I went to Lake Martin today. I talk to the man at the Lake Martin Biat stand said it is a hit and miss. People catching bream on crickets and one or two sac a lait on cricket. They also were catching using beetle spins. Duck blinds for sac a lait and lilies for bream. It was a nice day on the lake. The entire lake water had the color of light algae green. We only caught two bream. We talk to a few other fisherman and it was hard fishing for them also. Hope everyones else has better luck !

I had hopes of taking my 4 yr old there tomorrow to drown some crickets. Look like it may be off. I wander if Henderson is any better.

I went to henderson friday, water was beautiful. went for bream, got em on crickets in the flats south of the interstate. usually real shallow there, but it was 8' when I went. just try the clumps of trees until you find a place where they are hittin. I sat in one spot and caught all the bull bream I could handle, had to wade through the little ones though. I don't know what that place is called, but it's all the cypress trees on the right of the interstate when driving from lafayette to the butte la rose exit.
