Cheers Afternoon Redfish Slam

Brian Thompson and David Bowley from Texas were back with me this afternoon. We drifted one protected bank with clean water picking away at a few Trout, then headed to a pond for reds. We found the reds stacked up and hungry for our Purple Haze Vortex Shads rigged on a gold spinner bait. We hooked over 25 reds keeping our 15 fish limit. We spent the rest of the afternoon searching for trout with no luck. Calm winds, good incoming tide, clean water every where we fished, but no trout to be found. Thank goodness for the redfish bite! Another great trip with these guys, thanks.
