Default Chauvin / Cocodrie

Well guys, got the call that the boat is ready! Havent been out since January 1.

Looking for some clues as to where the trout are. I dont need specifics, just trying to figure out how far they may have migrated.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

They were in lake Boudreaux last year later than this. I'd try there. I'll be there all next weekend.

Islands in Monday are looking pretty tempting. Kids are on spring break all next week and the weather is supposed to be perfect

Got barck late last night after getting blown off the water on Friday. We didn't have much current and it picked up a bit on Saturday. Everything we caught seemed to be 1/2" short! We headed in the marsh and picked up a few doz crabs and a couple reds. Kids love to crab and it keeps them busy.

Did talk to a few folks that caught Saturday in Boudreaux on minnows. Not a lot but quality. Also talked to some friends that caught at Whiskey Pass. Not a lot either but big girls.

Thanks for the feedback and i need to get with some of you guys down in Cocodie, kiddos love Last Island!

I can say one thing.....i have NEVER seen so many crab traps in Lake Boudreaux! wow

Saw one in this area the other day, not many around. Looked like a 24 behind a white 2500 gm/Chevy.
