Who's going to be the first one with one of these hanging off the back of their bay boat? Supposedly you can get it in any color you want.

The most powerful
outboards on the planet.

If "good enough" were good enough there would be no iPad, no Bugatti Veyron, no Burj Khalifa, no F117 stealth fighter, and certainly no Seven Marine.

It is in keeping with the great tradition of bigger, better and more that Seven Marine launches the most powerful and technically-advanced production outboard motors on the planet. Loaded with features never before seen on an outboard, and packing nearly 60% more horsepower than the next most powerful offering on the market, Seven Marine proudly introduces the extraordinary 557.

Uncompromised passion for performance, style and technology are the channel markers that guide Seven Marine. It is from these principles that Seven Marine has created the first 557 horsepower small-block V8 outboard motor.

Supposedly the motor is the same motor that's in the Cadillac CTS V series. If I'm not mistaken that's the same motor in the Corvettes.
