Default Guys with Poling Platforms...gotta question!

My poling platform is getting fabbed up this week and I'm torn on height, We started at 36" but I wanted to give a little extra room to possibly put a T-Bag underneath it. I changed it up to 42" but I'm a little worried it might be too tall. I can deal with tippy but I don't want the Eiffel tower on the back of my boat. Its a 1648 Alweld Vhull. I may just go ahead and stick with 36" but want to get some input from you guys.

I have the same boat and wouldn't want it to be any taller then 36".

I want to stay in the boat!

Thanks Paul I know you have a lot more experience than me up there ill swing by today and let him know back to original plan. Merc I'm having Joe at southside fab it, he has done my rear deck/lids and my trolling motor mount. I also plan on having him build me a casting platform for the front if the poling platform leaves me with a little extra cash.

at 36" you can still fit a T-Bag under it.

Paul do you have any pics of your platform? I don't think he has started on mine yet, I'm still torn...that extra 6 inches isn't much so I don't know if its gonna negatively affect me. I was on my buddies platform on a marsh runner about 4ft tall and it wasn't too tippy so I'm still inbetween
