stocking is silly. All Florida bass anyways and we have plenty of native bass. All this stocking Florida bass nonsense is just pressure from sparkle boat owning bass fishermen who get mad when you keep a bass

I have fish up north towards bayou chene never had any luck always caught good south of teppes bridge. If you have time one weekend we can make a trip. Defiantly have some fish in there. You ever fished the wiggles and misere south of intercoastal? Very good bass fishing there also with a few reds to boot.

Hints the name Drainage Ditch
The northern part of BCDD is always muddy from ag run off but as you get south the ag fields drain into the marsh then pumped into the canals. They pump clear water. That is one of Sweet Lake's pumps. Their west fields have to be pumped off.

It was clear 2 days ago but muddied up again. Once it drops a foot it will pull the black water out the swamp and you will have some nice water between Teppy's and Loraine.

I live 10 minutes from launch. I've caught them on jugs before. One pushing 4 and know of many other fish being caught out there. Just not a place many people go when they wanna bass. Fish

Is there a public launch at the Hwy 14 bridge?
What are the other public launches that give you access to the south end of Lacassine Bayou?

Where do most people launch from to fish that south area of the bayou?

I have fished in the pools a little for the past 4-5 years since I moved to Lacassine but have never been on the bayou or to Streeters
