id go with lowrance. You can get a gen 3 hds 7" touch screen for about $1000 or a gen 2 non touch cheaper. I also make satellite map cards for lowrance and can get you one if you want good mapping.

Thanks guys. I fished Sabine this weekend and that fog was very bad. I like the lowrance models for sure. Sea pickle that is very nice unit. As for the fish report Saturday was good to us but Sunday was very tough.

I run both Humminbird and Lowrance units in my boat. I like the Humminbird Imaging and Sonar, but I have an XI5 trolling Motor and only Lowrance will network to it for navigation and anchor mode on Waypoints. To me, 6 of one and half doz of the other for GPS and Navigation.
