I got an email from Marlin Parker who is the captain for MarlinMagic charters out of Kona. He wanted to rub this in my face a tad. I saw it posted on facebook for marlinstar outfitters (clothing line) but none the less its a beast of marlin and the grander run will continue there til mid March. For anyone looking for a grander trip...Marlin Parker is a 2nd generation world renowned captain who is chartered for the Blue Marlin World Cup Championship which is a 24 hr tournament with winner takes all prize of 1 million along with the Treasure Cay billfish tournament.

He runs two boat alongside his brother out of Kona....a 54ft allied and 40 something allied. I've had several emails regarding trips to Hawaii and who to charter and I definitely recommend Marlin. Need to call well ahead to book....but he's worth every penny. Top notch service, food on board, boat and overall fishing experience.
