36V trolling motor plug
Edit I also noticed that the Motorguide TM only has 2 wires coming out of it. Seems like it would be 3, right? |

Try Lowe's , it looks like a household appliance plug.

It is a Marineco plug.
I believe Academy stocks them http://www.marinco.com/productline/marinco-shore-power |

There should be a model number on it. It should start with LP-. You can get one at most electrical parts houses.

I had to ask for it at west marine too. It wasn't on the shelf with the rest of the trolling motor plugs

If you don't ever take the Trolling motor off your boat, do yourself a favor and "hard" wire it. Using a plug will aways cause problems.
If you use the plug......you should buy 2 and keep one as a spare. You will need it in a year or so later. |

I have a plug on my tm.. the original one was put on in 2007 when the boat was brand new. Only reason I put a new plug is I left the old one on the motorguide when I sold it

Yeah, just one. We go to lowes or Home Depot about every two weeks it seems like. I've got time to get a spare.

I spray mine down pretty heavy with Corrosion X to help protect it.

Fill up the female plug with dielectric grease. It will not rust or corrode. Refill every year .
