Default Speckled Friday Mixed Bag 11-28-14

Black Friday. Always a day that I make sure I'm on the water and not the road. Jack Whitehead joined me today flying solo and wanted some fish to fry for tonight. For the first 3 hours I was skeptical that he was going to starve! We bounced around several locations in the bayou Dularge area before deciding to head deep into the marsh. Glad we gambled and made the decision to change it up. We found the trout stacked up until a crabber came through and destroyed the bite. Moved around a little and found some reds ready to play. We caught a quick 5 and stumbled upon a mess of bass! Thinking that the trout should have settled in where we were, we ran back and found them biting every cast. Beautiful day on the water and fish finally cooperated in the latter part of the day. All fish caught on Reflexion Swimbait's Lil Bammer in pearl and pearl melon. The winter fishing down here is incredible! To get your trip call 225-776-9820

Looks the same as a reaction lures "skinny dipper" I use them for big trout and on ponchatrain. They work great but tear up kinda easy. Country Station
