stew over cheese grits
tried this recipe yesterday. very good, but too hot for me. if you try it, cut the peppers in 1/2. grits were awesome. need to tone the heat down in the stew for leftovers. any ideas how to do that? |

Don't know how much gravy you have but maybe strain half out and add more without the pepper...If not much gravy just make some more and leave out pepper...

Add a few raw peeled potatoes, they will suck up a fair amount of the excess seasoning, or what lil bubba said.
