Default LU Repair?

Can this be repaired or does it call for a new LU? If it can be repaired, who around the LC area can? Friends motor so do not know all the details.

Buddy of mine had his repaired a couple months ago. Looked almost identical. Just about any welding shop should be able to do it.

easy fix cheap too . South side will build a weld for under 100 more than likely

I have welded worse than that before. It can be done fairly easy. Get some sand paper, primer, and a rattle can of touch up paint and I bet you will barely be able to tell.
