Was a great weekend Sat morning no sighting on stand but great morning. Spent the middle of the day to check cameras and put more soybeans in feeders. Sat afternoon had 2 yearlings come out then mom was not far behind. Videoed and watched them until they left. Went out Sun morning with my middle son always fun we knocked down dirt dobbler nests in the boxblind and threw them out the windows for first hour. Ate starburst and peanuts. Had a 1-1/2 yr old 8 pt come out at 200 yds and he walked all the way to the blind his eyes were wide opened as he walked away. We got down broke every low hanging branch he could reach on the way to the truck. Tolde daddy I had fun but it sure was a long time before we seen anything. Great times!!!

Splac- I've never used soybeans before. How do the deer like them compared to corn or rice bran? Where do you get soybeans? How much? Will they feed in a automatic corn feeder? Sorry for all the questions, but you got me curious.

Coons and turkeys don't mess with the soybeans like corn. But the hogs and deer love them. You can get them from an agricultural seed company. I think they are about $10 a bag. I never put in a feeder. Always just put in pile. But I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I put them on ground either soybeans are roasted soybeans deer live um and they have more protein the corn. I get them from fletchers are Currie brothers. If I knew how to post pic I could show you pictures out of stand of them eating them. I have seen 12 deer since opening muzzle loader just waiting on a good buck. They sit and eat longer as well no clue way.
