Default Lil Fla. 8/26

Got there early.. dropped the yak in the water with a nice north east wind. paddled out to the rocks and tossed a skitterwalk, jr spook and fat boy.. nada. i put on a swimmin mullet and caught 2 in about 20 mins.. changed to a glo/chart jerk jr. and it was hammer time! i caught 22 trout and 2 reds in a bout 2 hours.. it slowed way down about 8:30..i didnt catch any giants.. all trout under were 2lbs. i loaded up and left about 9:30.. a whole lot better than i did yesterday.. but the water looked a whole lot better too . im writing this report and wont b back on to reply till probly 6.. but i expect lots of reports of big numbers caught! the water looked really good.
heres an average trout and one of the reds --

NICE that looks like a blast! How far out from the rocks were you, and about how deep is that. I haven't been there in years

I bet one of those lil 2 man boats that people have in their pond would work good on calm days at the edge of the rocks. u could easily drag them to the water from truck.
