We fought fresh water and short supply of live bait all week here on Laker Calcasieu. Most of the lake remains brown but when you can find some clear green water usually you can catch some nice fish. Most all of our guides continue to fish the south end because they have been able to find small patches of good water holding some good fish. Live finger mullet proved to be very good under a cork. We have not had any reports from up north where the fresh water remains the story.
