I use to hit Old Tyme store up on Thursday evenings fairly often.........Turkey poboy's special.....I think it cost $ 2.50.

I remember going in one time during Lent on a friday. They were getting the shrimp ready and I asked how much did they have.......I think it was ~ 500 lbs. That is a lot of poboys.

I go to lafayette from time to time for the va to work on medical equipment at the clinic. I always go there for lunch. The oysters are awsome and the shrimp poboys are a very close second. I usually get the 1/2 and 1/2. I don't order the fries anymore because there just isn't enough room for it. Great place. I'll have to try the place in broussard. Thanks for the info dink.
