Default Tampa Bay Inshore Snook

Went to my cousin's highschool Graduation a few weeks back and had a chance to fish for some snook. Never been snook fishing. It was a great time!!! Reminds me a lot of fishing for redsfish but may even fight a little better. What a pretty fish too!

Yeah, they are a great time to catch. They are a great fight on light tackle. Only problem is that the freeze this past year killed a lot of them in the area (marina told us around 50% of population) and the snook season was closed so we couldn't keep any of them to eat even though I heard from everyone they are great to eat.

I am a twin and he was also there. He caught a really nice one on one of our last casts on our way back to the dock at a quick stop.
