I am headed to Lafayette General on Tuesday for gastric bypass surgery.

Hopefully after i lose all the weight i need to, i will be more likely to come fish big lake........ My boat wont draft quite as much after.

If your interested in knowing how i am doing with this feel free to check in on the Blog i created to document the process and how it will effect my life.

Good luck. My mom had it in September and she is dropping the pounds. She had a minor hiccup last week. They had to remove her gallbladder. But all is well.

good luck, my friend and his wife just both had it done and she lost 75 lbs. and he has lost over 100 lbs. in just 4 months.

he said it takes a lot of getting used to because your brain thinks differently from what your body needs but he says things are starting to normalize

I am definetly realizing this. It's 4 days post surgery, and i have started eating just a little bit again and i have to force myself to eat anything. Not hungry at all ever.

Ace, if you need anything (like me running your boat for you) LOL, let me know. Me and my buddy passed by your house the other day and seen you out on the front porch. It was when the wind was 25-30mph on vernon...Get better my friend so we can hit vernon and smoke the fish

Been pretty nice hanging out on the porch the last few days.. but i remember that windy day.. was crazy.

Talked to a couple friends, the bass bite is starting to pick up on vernon. I hope to get out there in a couple days.. starting to feel pretty good.
